What’s the difference between a classic, Mondo, and mini Koosh ball?
The classic Koosh ball is roughly the size of a tennis ball — perfect for one-handed catch and the original size most people remember. The Mondo Koosh ball (also called the giant Koosh ball) is significantly larger, built for group play and big two-handed throws. The mini Koosh ball is keychain-sized — small enough to clip to a backpack or carry in a pocket. Same rubber-strand DNA across the entire Kooshball lineup, just different scales of fun.
Are Koosh balls safe for kids and pets?
The Koosh ball was designed from the start to be a softer, safer alternative to hard rubber balls — that was Scott Stillinger’s whole goal when he invented it. The strands are soft latex, the ball won’t bruise furniture or fingers, and it lands quietly. As with any toy, we recommend Kooshballs for ages 3 and up because the strands can be chewed if left with very young children or unsupervised pets, and they’re meant for human hands, not dog teeth.
